Training
I am registered as a clinical psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and with the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF). I am also a member of the South African Psychoanalytic Initiative (SAPI) and I volunteer my services probono to the Johannesburg Psychoanalytic Clinic. While I work from a predominantly psychodynamic perspective, I am trained in dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT) and have an interest in relational psychoanalytic thinking.

I completed my academic training at the University of Stellenbosch and the University of Johannesburg, and my clinical training on the Wits Hospital Circuit. During this time, I worked at Rahima Moosa Mother & Child Hospital, at Tara The H. Moross Centre in their psychotherapy unit (Ward 4 & 5), and at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital. Following my community service, I spent some time working in an inpatient addiction facility.

Currently, I am in private practice at the Oxford Healthcare Centre, where I am also working as part of the multidisciplinary team on the DBT Day Clinic programme for adults and adolescents.
